THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING
It’s been over 10 years… more than a decade, nearly 30 countries and over 200 cities…
From the first trip, planned and desired to New Zealand until today, we learned, we got tired, we wanted to come back and came back, we did not want to leave, we rage, got lost, slept in the airport, we slept in hostels (in shared room, in double, triple bedroom, alone in the hostel), in peoples’ houses around the world. We lost our luggage, we found the luggage, took a ride in a limo, we were in cold weather, very cold, heat, a little bit scared, took turbulence, flight delays (we never lost a flight), made friends.
About hosting, we have stayed in a room that had a phone in the bathroom and one that had the toilet below the shower, other that we could dive into the sea and others who could see all the lights of Las Vegas.
We got, of course, by plane, boat, ship, train, subway, buggy, bus and even walked in the English way (which in fact is a little confusing at first) and we walk and walk…
We already have been to many oceans, the Andes, the Cape of Good Hope, the scene of Lord of the Rings, crossed a desert, go through the Iguaçu Falls, by Lençois Maranhenses. We went on a game in La Bombonera, a NBA game, Formula 1 race, visited a mosque without being Muslims, we visited some of the best museums in the world, went to the Empire State and we just pass by the Eiffel Tower, and walked through by London streets. We visited an alfajor factory, vineyards and many, many more malls!
We did a safari and found lions, buffaloes, elephants, left the slipper right between the animals! We were afraid of monkeys, swam with the penguins! We saw wild dogs, kangaroos, koalas and a multitude of animals.
We went to the beach again and again! We saw snow, cold, heat, rain, beach, mountain, dormant volcanoes, natural pools with 107 degrees of temperature.
Tasted American food, Cuban, Peruvian, Venezuelan, Colombian, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Australian, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Senegalese, South African, English, Uruguayan, Argentinian, Chinese, Jamaican, Panama and so on. Savor frog, escargot, oysters of all types and sizes, crabs and even made our own food.
But the most important of the decade was the discovery of the world, a world with all its nuances, smells, tastes, colors, religions and a world that always came with a smile when we said where we were from: Brazil! There has never been a country where no one does not ask us anything, they did not know any little fact that was or did not want to know. And that’s why we decided to go out into the world, to know from these people why they are so receptive and smiling when they hear this word, they ALWAYS want to know more.
Let’s search the world to know what it tells us about our country.
So, world, TELL ME ABOUT BRAZIL!
